Associate Program Manager

We are seeking an Associate Program Manager who can work with the program management team to roll out initiatives for our partners and clients. In this role, you will also work in our team to market benefits to drivers, learn the nuances of communicating with gig workers from different cultures and communities, and engage drivers to build a stronger community. In addition, you will help to identify areas for improvement and help to manage the required internal and external resources to meet and exceed client expectations.

The ideal applicant can learn quickly, adapt to a dynamic, collaborative work environment, and exhibit comfort working with a wide range of tasks. The applicant must be purpose-driven, goal-oriented, possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and be an organized multitasker able to work on many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

Recurring tasks:

  • Support the team by assembling and analyzing program results and forecasts, helping to plan and organize promotional presentations.
  • Manage existing operational processes (e.g. maintaining directory and inventory of marketing materials, making sure resources are current and accurate, and coordinating the creation of new materials as needed).
  • Communicate and coordinate objectives, timelines, and deliverables with others.
  • Plan and manage calls, meetings, events, conferences by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, and developing schedules.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Past work experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with G-Suite and Microsoft products.
  • Experience using data analytics software.

 

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and design and email software.
  • Familiarity with government, unions, or labor.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or benefit industry.
  • Experience with multicultural communities.
Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator who can work to make sure our company runs smoothly. The Operations Coordinator would work closely with the Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of Workers Benefit Fund. While this is an entry-level position, it is not a traditional EA position. Individuals in this role have historically transitioned into roles in account management and operations.

This person would be responsible for maintaining the organization’s back end to ensure our continued growth and success. They would be responsible for the following:

  • Tech: Helping facilitate tech and supplies for employees, tracking and maintaining logs of existing equipment and ordering new equipment. First line of defense for computer issues and would work with our IT team to ensure problems are fixed.
  • Access Management: Help organize and track all software, passwords, and data points for all employees for HIPAA and data security purposes.
  • Scheduling: Managing the calendars for our president and CEO, as well as coordinating schedules for All Hands, Board Meetings and other company events. Coordinating travel, including flight, hotel, and car rental reservations.
  • Projects: Work with the Operations Manager on running projects to improve efficiency and ongoing processes.
  • Recruiting: Manage and screen job postings for positions at the request of the President.
  • Presentation Support: Working with senior team members to develop concise presentations.

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Comfortable with Google Calendar, GMail, Google Slides, and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal teams, vendors and partners and clients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Patience, calmness under pressure, attentiveness (the ability to listen rather than speak) and a polite demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently to develop process.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and processes simultaneously.
